The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation reported that the families of Israeli prisoners detained in Gaza are demonstrating in front of the Ministry of Defense headquarters, “Kiryah,” in Tel Aviv, in addition to thousands of others against the government in Netanya and Haifa.
She said: “Thousands are demonstrating against the government in Kaplan in Tel Aviv and at the same time in Haifa. In addition, about 2,000 people demonstrated against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Caesarea. Dozens of demonstrators came to the Areem Mall square in Netanya, demanding the return of the kidnapped people.”
The authority noted that anti-government demonstrators closed the Ayalon Highway near the Arlozorov intersection in Tel Aviv. The demonstrators, from the Dorshuna organization, said: “We need a (prisoner exchange) agreement now, and elections. Nearly six months after the most disastrous failure in Israel’s history, everyone who abandoned the kidnapped must return them all to their homes.”
Hundreds of demonstrators against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Rothschild Street in Caesarea demanded his dismissal, carrying signs that read: “With Qatari money, you strengthened Yahya Sinwar, you are the head – you are guilty.”
