Baghdad/NinaToday, Wednesday, the head of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Masoud Barzani, and the Turkish Consul General in Erbil, Muhammad Mevlut Yaqut, discussed the Iraqi and regional situations and the latest developments.
A statement from Barzani’s residence in the Salah al-Din resort stated, “The Turkish consul paid a farewell visit to Barzani on the occasion of the end of his consular duties in the Kurdistan region. He expressed his happiness with the period he worked in the region, stressing the continuation and development of friendly relations between the Kurdistan region and Turkey.”
Barzani thanked the Turkish Consul and wished him success in his new duties, and stressed the strengthening of relations between the two sides in all different fields.
