English: Manchester United Football Club announced the signing of Dutch international striker Joshua Zirkzee from Italian club Bologna.
United paid around $46 million to acquire the 23-year-old.
The Dutch international striker, who finished last season as the top scorer for his former club Bologna and helped them qualify for the Champions League, has signed a contract with United until 2029.
After signing his contract with United, Zirkzee said: “After my discussions with the club’s management and the manager, I know how exciting the future is here and I can’t wait to contribute to Manchester United’s success.”
He continued: “My mentality is to do everything I can to win, and I am ready for this new challenge in my career, and I want to win more titles.”
Zirkzee, who won the Serie A Young Player of the Year award last season, had previously won six titles with Bayern Munich before moving to Italy.
