Manchester United have decided to put Marcus Rashford, the team’s striker, up for sale during the next summer transfer window.
According to the British newspaper, The Sun, Manchester United is listening to offers to buy Rashford this summer, after the collapse of his relationship with Dutch coach Erik ten Hag.
The newspaper indicated that Rashford’s future was linked to Ten Hag’s fate, and after the club confirmed the Dutch coach’s stay, the English striker is expected to leave this summer.
She explained that Manchester United had set a price of 80 million pounds to sell Rashford, but they may have to accept only about 60 million pounds after his decline in form last season.
She said Rashford and Ten Hag were barely speaking, after the player had challenged his coach more than once by staying out at a nightclub until the early hours of the morning.
The Sun said that Rashford thought he would get a fresh start with Manchester United when news spread that Ten Hag was about to leave the club, but now it has been confirmed that he will continue at Old Trafford.
