Manchester United has decided on the departure of its Portuguese star, Bruno Fernandes, to one of the Saudi Professional League clubs during the summer transfer period.
Bruno Fernandes’ name has recently been linked to joining Al-Nassr or Al-Hilal, after reports indicated the Saudi Investment Fund’s desire to sign the Portuguese player.
Manchester United’s official spokesman, Andrew Ward, said in exclusive statements to the Saudi newspaper Al-Youm: “Bruno is one of the mainstays of the Red Devils, and there is no thought of letting him go.”
He added, “We have a plan for Bruno Fernandes to continue with the team and not leave in the summer to the Roshen League as reported.”
Bruno Fernandes participated in 48 matches in various competitions with Manchester United during the past season, scoring 15 goals and providing 13 assists, and winning the FA Cup.
