Iraqi artist Salam Zahra is filming his role in a joint Gulf series in the Sultanate of Oman, alongside a group of Iraqi, Omani, Bahraini and Emirati artists.
Zahra told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “This series, which includes a group of Iraqi and Gulf artists, has the initial title (Ma’araba),” noting that “the work is written by the writer Saeed Asaad Amer and directed by Youssef Al-Balushi.”
He added that “the series’ characters are represented by the artists Nahi Mahdi from Iraq, Fakhriya Khamis, Talib Mohammed Al Balushi, and Amina bint Abdul Rasool from the Sultanate of Oman, Lamia Al Shuwaikh from Bahrain, and Khaled Al Bannai and Mohammed Nour from the Emirates,” noting that “it is hoped that the series will be shown on Arab satellite channels, once filming and technical and artistic treatments are completed.”
