The LVMH executive reshuffle continues. The luxury conglomerate announced on Monday the appointments of Ramon Ros and Charlotte Coupé as CEOs of Fendi and Kenzo, respectively. Both will report to Sidney Toledano, senior advisor to LVMH group chairman and CEO Bernard Arnault. This comes after Fendi CEO Pierre-Emmanuel Angeloglou was appointed deputy CEO of Christian Dior Couture last month.
These are promotions from within: Ros was most recently Louis Vuitton president and CEO of Mainland China. His new role is effective 1 July. “Ramon’s deep expertise in luxury retail and clienteling, coupled with his passion for product excellence and collaborative leadership, will enable him to elevate the Roman maison to new heights, preserving Fendi’s unique history and commitment to artisanal craftsmanship,” LVMH said in a statement.
He will join at a time of transition, following the departure of artistic director Kim Jones, announced in October. Still, the Roman house had a major moment during Milan Fashion Week in February as it celebrated its 100th anniversary with a bang. LVMH doesn’t break down sales of individual brands, but according to HSBC estimates, Fendi sales reached €2.33 billion in 2024.
Coupé also joins from Louis Vuitton, where she currently serves as business unit director of men’s ready-to-wear. Her appointment is effective 1 May. Kenzo CEO Sylvain Blanc “is leaving the group to pursue new projects”, according to the statement. It comes as Kenzo is also fine-tuning its strategy: the house showed during womenswear for the first time in eight years and has a new design director, Joshua Bullen, working under artistic director Nigo.
Meanwhile, Daniel DiCicco will succeed Ros as president and CEO of Mainland China at Louis Vuitton as of 28 April. Since 2018, DiCicco has been leading global worldwide retail for Apple.
