Darts star Luke Littler fired nine darts from the start of his quarter-final against Nathan Aspinall at the Bahrain Masters on Friday. The audience was ecstatic.

“The Nuke” broke the previous record held by Michael van Gerwen when he was 17 at the 2007 Hengelo Darts Masters against Raymond van Baane Raymond van Barneveld threw a perfect leg.
The teenager was competing in just his second PDC event after reaching the final at Alexandra Palace as an unknown, losing to Luke Humphries earlier this month.
He won the second leg against the Darts to go 2-0 up, but Aspinall fought back and held in the third leg to make it 2-2. Littler was not to be denied, however, and ended up winning 6-3 with a checkout of 116.
Littler then took on Gwen Price, who defeated Humphries 6-4 in the quarter-finals, but won 7-3, proving to be no match for the youngster. Teenage stars contend. Littler finished with a score of 170 and he entered the final against either Van Gerwen or Michael Smith with an astonishing 70% strike rate.
