Captain Virgil van Dijk led his Liverpool team after scoring the winning goal in the 118th minute of the second extra time in the match that took place at Wembley Stadium.
The goalless draw remained until the 117th minute, when the Dutch player succeeded in snatching the winning goal, while the two teams were preparing for the match to end in a goalless draw and go to penalty kicks.
