Today, Wednesday, the Lebanese Hezbollah announced that it had bombed the headquarters of the 210th Golan Division in the Nafah barracks and the air and missile defense headquarters in the Keila barracks with 100 Katyusha rockets.
Hezbollah explained in a statement: In response to the attack and assassination carried out by the enemy in the Al-Hawsh area in the city of Tyre, the Islamic Resistance fighters bombed on Wednesday 03-07-2024 the headquarters of the Golan 210th Division in the Nafah barracks and the air and missile defense headquarters in the Kila barracks with 100 Katyusha rockets.
The Hebrew website “Hadashot Be’Zaman” reported that “rockets were recorded falling inside an Israeli military base in the north.” While the army radio reported “100 rockets were launched from Lebanon.”
This morning, the Israeli Air Force launched an airstrike targeting the town of Tayr Harfa, coinciding with artillery shelling targeting the towns of Yarin, Al-Jabbin and Sheheen in southern Lebanon.
The border between Lebanon and Israel is still witnessing ongoing tension, with the escalation of clashes between Hezbollah and the Israeli army.
Meanwhile, the US Special Envoy to Lebanon, Amos Hochstein, will visit France on Wednesday, in an attempt to coordinate between Washington and Paris to find a solution that prevents the outbreak of a comprehensive war in the region.
