Follow-up – Al-Rasheed
Today, Sunday, the Lebanese Hezbollah announced several operations it carried out against Israeli military sites, which targeted espionage equipment at the Raheb site, the Nimra base west of Tiberias, and an air operations headquarters at the Meron base.
The Lebanese party said in separate statements: “At 8:45 this morning, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted the espionage equipment at the Al-Raheb site with appropriate weapons and hit it directly, leading to its destruction.”
It is noteworthy that the Israeli army announced a short while ago that about 60 rockets were launched today from Lebanon towards Israel.
He added: “In support of our steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and in support of their valiant and honorable resistance, and in response to the attack and assassination carried out by the Israeli enemy in the Bekaa region, the Islamic Resistance fighters today, Sunday, bombed the Nimra base (one of the main bases in the northern region) west of Tiberias with dozens of Katyusha rockets.”
The party’s statements continued: “In response to the attack and assassination carried out yesterday by the Israeli enemy in the Bekaa region, the Islamic Resistance fighters bombed today, Sunday, the headquarters of the Air Control Unit and Air Operations Department at the Meron base in Mount Jermak with dozens of Katyusha rockets.”
Hezbollah confirmed that the air force headquarters was directly hit, “which led to the destruction of part of its equipment and the outbreak of fires inside it.”
