The Joint Operations Command announced today, Saturday, that a force from Diyala Operations has begun a wide-ranging search and inspection operation in the orchards of Al-Ayt, southwest of the governorate.
The command stated in a statement received by “Al-Rasheed”, “In continuation of the statement of the operation carried out yesterday in the orchards of Al-Ayt within the Diyala Operations Command sector, which resulted in the killing of two terrorists, one of whom is the criminal nicknamed (Abu Al-Harith), the so-called official of Khan Bani Saad within the Diyala sector.”
She added, “A force under the command of the Diyala Operations Commander, today began a wide-ranging search and inspection operation in the same area for the purpose of enhancing security and stability within this sector.”
