Het aantal kinderen dat kanker overleeft, stijgt nog steeds een klein beetje: de afgelopen twee jaar nam de overlevingskans toe van 83 naar 84 procent. Maar toch sterven er elke week twee kinderen aan de ziekte. Experts verwachten dat er mooie doorbraken aankomen. ,,We zullen altijd werken aan hogere overlevingskansen.’
