A young Ajax side defeated MVV 3-0 in the Kitchen Championship group, thanks in part to Julian Rijkhoff. The 19-year-old striker, who recently returned to the Amsterdam club, scored the first two goals. With the loss, MVV missed the opportunity to take over first place from ADO Den Haag in the third quarter.
