FORENSIC cops have returned to the Airbnb Jay Slater went to before he vanished to search it.
Detectives spent two hours searching the remote holiday let in Rural de Teno park, northwest Tenerife.

After going to a rave in Playa de las Americas, apprentice bricklayer Jay headed to Masca with two British men in the early hours
The 19-year-old, from Lancashire, shared a final Snapchat from their Airbnb of a hand holding a cigarette at 7.30am.
Jay then tried to make his way back to his holiday accommodation – an 11-hour walk away.
But at around 8.50am he made a final frantic call to friend Lucy, telling her he was lost in the “middle of nowhere” with no water and had just one per cent battery on his phone.
It sparked a major search for the teen involving drones, sniffer dogs and helicopters.
But after almost two weeks, cops dramatically called off the search on Sunday.
Yet today, two plain-clothed officers were sent to scan the £40-a-night two-bedroom cottage called Casa Abuela Tina for clues.
A local who saw them arrive told the Mail: “They got here around 9am and spent almost two hours inside.
“They got the key from the owner. I thought it had already been searched but I don’t know for sure.
“It’s been taken off the market and not available to book, that’s all I know.”
The owner of the Airbnb where the men stayed said she has given all the information she had to the police.
Ofelia Hernandez, who owns the holiday let, revealed they were friendly, booked several days at the cottage, and spent a lot of time inside the property.
She said she saw Jay walking off on his own uphill in the vast mountainous area near Masca.
Ophelia told MEN: “It’s dangerous walking around here, it’s easy to lose yourself. He walked up the road when I saw him for the last time.
“He was alone. He was walking normally, though he was fast.”
Last week, investigators said the two mystery Brits Jay partied with at the Airbnb were “not relevant” to their probe.
It came after ex-detective Mark Williams-Thomas – who worked on the Madeleine McCann case – called the men “key witnesses” in the case.

They are said to be from Luton, Bedfordshire, with one going by the nickname “Johnny Vegas”.
Neither of them are believed to have been to the NRG music festival where Jay spent the day partying before he vanished.
It is understood they spoke to police on the island before flying back to the UK days after Jay vanished.
Jay’s devasted family were left “blindsided” on Sunday when cops abruptly axed the search on Sunday.
His loved ones said they felt “left in the dark” over what will now happen with the investigation.
Jay’s mum Debbie and dad Warren Slater yesterday begged police not to give up looking for their son during a crunch talk.
Debbie said she is “trying to remain positive” despite no trace of Jay being found.
She told Good Morning Britain that she doesn’t want his case “to lose momentum”.
Distraught Debbie also said it is “important to keep the world watching” despite police ditching the search.
She said she was aware, however, of vile conspiracy theories being peddled shamelessly on social media.
