Bologna turned the score around with two goals in the second half, as Joshua Zirkzee scored the equalizer in the 57th minute from a penalty kick.
Lewis Ferguson added the second goal for Bologna in the 61st minute.
Atalanta continued to lose points with a draw and two losses in the last 3 rounds, leaving its score frozen at 46 points in sixth place.
