The Lebanese Hezbollah issued a statement on Saturday evening regarding the raids launched by the Israeli army on the Yemeni province of Hodeidah.
A statement issued by Hezbollah said: “We extend our deepest condolences to the free and honorable Yemeni people, the people of pride and rejection of injustice, to their brave and wise leadership, and to the families of the martyrs and wounded, for the righteous martyrs who fell on the road to Jerusalem in victory for our oppressed Palestinian people and in support of their honorable and steadfast resistance.”
The statement added: “The treacherous Zionist aggression on Yemen, with full American protection and support, is a continuation of the American-British aggression on Yemen and the ongoing and continuous siege for many years. It is an unequivocal confirmation of the utmost importance of the support fronts in the entire region and their great role in defending the Palestinian people. We are fully confident that the aggression will not weaken the resolve of this people and its leadership, but will increase their strength, determination and determination to continue on this difficult and bloody path that will inevitably lead to the victory of the resistance.”
He added: “We believe that the foolish step taken by the Zionist enemy is a sign of a new and dangerous phase of confrontation that is extremely important at the level of the entire region, and we have full confidence that the Yemeni leadership, with its knowledge, courage and strength, is able to take the appropriate and necessary steps to deter this enemy and its regional and international allies. We affirm that we stand firmly with the Yemeni people in defending themselves, their sovereignty and their heroic and historic position alongside Palestine, its people and its resistance.”
