
Israel’s armed forces chief has vowed to respond to Iran’s unprecedented attack against the country, even after appeals for restraint poured in from world leaders fearing wider regional conflict. The news came after Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu convened with his war cabinet for the second time in less than 24 hours to discuss a response to the weekend’s drone and missile attack.
