
The Israeli military on Friday said its troops in Gaza found the bodies of three Israeli hostages killed during the October 7 attack. The bodies were identified as 22-year-old Shani Louk, 28-year-old Amit Buskila and a 56-year-old man, Itzhak Gelerenter. Reporting from Jerusalem, FRANCE 24’s Irris Makler says the families of Buskila and Gelerenter had no idea about the fate of their loved ones before Friday. The Israeli military had confirmed to Louk’s family on October 30 that she was no longer alive. “Her family have said that there is closure in the thought that they can bury her,” explains Makler.
