The Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomes the preliminary decision of the International Court of Justice issued today, Friday, to prevent acts of genocide against the Palestinians, which confirmed the transgression of the occupying power and its flagrant violation of international laws.
The Ministry reaffirms the importance of stopping hostile military operations that prevent the arrival of humanitarian aid and threaten the lives of Palestinian civilians.
It expresses its appreciation for the position and efforts of the Republic of South Africa and its legal team in adopting the cause of filing a lawsuit against the continuing violations of the occupying power before the International Court.
