Baghdad / Nina / National Security Advisor Qasim Al-Araji confirmed that Iraq wants bilateral relations with members of the international coalition countries built on the basis of mutual respect between countries, and strengthened through partnership, cooperation and efforts to achieve the highest levels of security and stability in the region and the world.
Al-Araji, during his meeting today, Monday, with the Minister of State for Political Affairs and Undersecretary of the German Foreign Ministry, Tobias Londoner, in the presence of the Ambassador of the Republic of Germany in Baghdad, Christiana Hohmann, reviewed the latest developments in the political and security situation at the international and regional levels, as well as discussing strengthening cooperation relations between Iraq and Germany and developing them to new heights. Further serves the two friendly countries and peoples.
Iraq’s vision regarding ending the presence of the international coalition on its territory was also discussed, after the reasons for and need for its presence had disappeared./End 5
