Baghdad/NinaThe General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers announced, today, Tuesday, that the Transport, Border Crossings and Ports Committee discussed establishing joint projects between the countries of the Iraqi-Jordanian-Egyptian Coordination Council.
The secretariat stated in a statement, “Minister of Transport, Razzaq Al-Saadawi, chaired the third meeting of the Transport, Border Crossings and Ports Committee of the Iraqi-Jordanian-Egyptian Coordination Council, in the presence of members representing (the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Border Ports Authority, the Directorate of Civil Status, Passports and Residence, and the Civil Aviation Authority). And the representative of the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers – International Relations Department, in his capacity as the Secretariat of the Coordination Council, to discuss cooperation mechanisms and ways to enhance them.
She added that during the meeting, items on the agenda were discussed, including the establishment of a number of joint projects between Iraq, Jordan and Egypt, and the memorandums of understanding to be signed between the three countries in the fields of transport, and the establishment of the joint electronic portal for trade with the aim of accelerating the process of trade exchange and facilitating procedures between the GCC countries, in addition to Presenting several topics that serve the rest of the sectors in the Republic of Iraq.”/End 11
