Baghdad/Nina/ Iraq participated in the extraordinary session of the Council of the League of Arab States at the ministerial level, which was held against the backdrop of the Iranian attack on the city of Erbil.
A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated: “Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Fuad Hussein, headed the Iraqi delegation participating in the extraordinary session of the Council of the League of Arab States at the ministerial level, which was held at the request of the Republic of Iraq against the backdrop of the Iranian attack with ballistic missiles that occurred in the city of Erbil and led to “Leading civilian casualties and wounding others.”
According to the statement, the meeting issued a resolution condemning this attack and stressing the need to respect Iraq’s sovereignty, as well as supporting Iraq’s international efforts to preserve its sovereignty and the safety of its land and people.
The delegation participating in the meeting included the Undersecretary for Bilateral Relations Affairs, Muhammad Hussein Muhammad Bahr Al-Ulum, and the Acting Head of the Arab Department, Osama Mahdi Ghanem./End2
