Baghdad / Nina / Armenian President Hagen Khachaturian expressed his happiness at visiting Iraq, stressing that it was a successful visit and achieved positive results.
Khachaturian said in a televised interview: “The Iraqi and Armenian peoples must be informed of the real situation in the two countries, and one of the goals of our visit is to convey our impressions of Iraq to our people, and we have focused on introducing our country.”
He added: “We saw in Iraq great potential for development, we saw great economic plans, and we spoke with Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani about cooperation in various fields.”
He continued: “We discussed cooperation in the industrial, agricultural, commercial and information technology fields, and we can supply Iraq with energy via a line that passes from Iran.”
The Armenian President stressed: “Iraq enjoys security, peace and stability, and it represents a suitable environment for businessmen and tourism.”
He pointed out: “Armenia has gone through difficult circumstances, and we know very well the price of peace and providing stability.”/ End
