The Iranian Interior Ministry announced the closure of polling stations in the second round of the presidential elections, while the vote counting process began.
The ministry said in press statements that “polling stations were closed in the second round of the presidential elections with the end of the legal deadline,” stressing that “voters present at the polling stations will be allowed to vote.”
She pointed out that “the process of counting votes has begun in polling stations where there are no voters.”
