Russia’s permanent representative to the UN Security Council, Vasily Nebenzia, said: “We condemn the attack on Iraq’s sovereignty.”
For his part, China’s representative to the Security Council stated: “The American strikes in Iraq represent a serious violation of Iraq’s sovereignty.”
In turn, Algeria’s representative to the Security Council confirmed that “the recent strikes in Iraq and Syria represent an additional escalation in the region.”
