According to the directives of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, the security services and intelligence departments continue to search for the kidnapped Yazidi women intensively.
By collecting information and continuously following up on this important file, the heroes of the Iraqi National Intelligence Service, after obtaining the necessary approvals from the Joint Operations Command and coordinating with the Border Forces Command, were able to return two Yazidi girls who were kidnapped by the evil ISIS terrorist gangs during their rape of the lands of Nineveh Governorate. They were returned from the Syrian side and handed over to their families, one of whom is a girl of about 10 years old.
Thus, the brave men of the Iraqi National Intelligence Service were able, within a year, to return and liberate 17 kidnapped Yazidi women, including the two kidnapped above.
We also confirm that the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces is personally following up on the file of returning the kidnapped Yazidi women and stressing, in more than one security meeting and occasion, the need to return all the kidnapped women to their families and to make every effort and harness the capabilities for this purpose.
