The Ministry’s media stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that “Minister of Commerce, Atheer Daoud Al-Ghurairi, announced the launch of cutting and processing a new share of flour, starting tomorrow, Wednesday, the fifth of this month of June.”
He added, “The General Grain Processing Company, based on the directives of the Minister of Commerce, will begin, through the cutting centers, cutting off the agents’ supply lists for the fifth share of flour, starting tomorrow, Wednesday, in accordance with the agents’ review schedules and according to the timings of the processing plan published by the company’s Marketing Plan Committee, with priority given to them.” Equipment to the poorest areas.
The statement continued, “At the same time, the company issued circulars to the cutting centers in Baghdad and the governorates to cut the mills’ quotas of grain, starting today, Tuesday.”
The statement noted that “collecting parts list amounts will be electronic throughout the country via electronic payment cards and in accordance with the electronic system that the company has adopted since the beginning of this year, in line with the decisions of the Council of Ministers and the directives of the Minister of Commerce.”
The statement stressed, “the supervisory committees will follow up on the process of distribution and processing of agents and citizens and receive complaints from citizens about the quality of prepared flour and the working hours of the agents, or in the event that amounts are collected that exceed the wages set by the ministry for each individual.”
The statement called on “agents to review the parcel centers according to the announced schedules, while directing the parcel and marketing units at the company’s headquarters and branches to organize the review process and simplify the procedures, in addition to calling on all those included in the ration card system to visit the agents to receive their prescribed rations to ensure that they do not accumulate with the agents and to ensure the safety of the quantities.” And report violations, if any, by contacting the oversight department or the company’s branches in the governorates.
