The Federal Integrity Commission denied, on Wednesday, the issuance of an arrest warrant against its head, Judge Haider Hanoun.
The official news agency quoted an official in the commission as saying, “What is being circulated in the media and social media about an arrest warrant being issued against the head of the Integrity Commission is not true.”
He added, “What was reported about Judge Hanoun’s press conference was misunderstood, and that the judge spoke about not caring about whether an arrest warrant was issued against him or not, and that going to prison is better than staying and not holding the corrupt accountable.”
