The Authority’s Government Media and Communications Office stated, in a statement received by Al-Rasheed, that “the staff of the Salah al-Din Investigation Office monitored that the Health Department in the governorate concluded (39) fictitious contracts to purchase electrical appliances, furniture, cleaners, and stationery for an amount of (3,694,150,000) billion dinars during the years (2018). -2020), explaining that “the former director of the Legal Division in the Health Department and (5) other defendants who are members of the Purchasing and Price Moderation Committees were arrested and placed in detention in accordance with the provisions of Article (340) of the Penal Code.” Based on the decision of the competent investigating judge.”
The office reported, “The arrest warrant issued against the current Assistant Director of Tikrit Teaching Hospital, who was the Director of the Department of Administrative, Financial and Legal Matters in the Salah al-Din Health Department.” Following the issuance of fictitious administrative orders to promote employees in the primary health care sector in Baiji in the years 2021 and 2022,” indicating that “the orders are attributed to being issued by the department without the approval of the Minister of Health or the issuance of a ministerial order for promotion; Which led to a waste of public money. As a result of disbursing sums of money to employees who were ordered to be promoted and promoted.”
He added, “(7) defendants were brought in, namely the chairman and members of the repair and symptom detection committees in the governorate health department after they caused a waste of public money,” pointing out that sums of money were disbursed to the car repair committee. Based on fictitious receipts, and after conducting an investigation and moving to the stores from which the purchase receipts were allegedly issued, it was found that the department’s accounts employees had disbursed amounts for car repair transactions.
