Baqubah / Nina / The security services have begun implementing security practices within the areas of responsibility in Diyala Governorate.
Colonel Haitham Al-Shammari, the media spokesman for the Diyala Police Command, told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency: Nina “Security practices included setting up temporary and permanent checkpoints and ambushes in remote areas in order to implement judicial arrest warrants issued against wanted persons, and to account for cars with tinted shades, those without registration plates, and violating motorcycles.”
He added that security efforts resulted in the arrest of a number of violators and the confiscation of wheels and motorcycles that did not carry identification papers. Noting that legal measures were taken against violators and referred them to the competent centers. /I finish
