The Security Media Cell announced the launch of a pursuit operation against outlaw elements who targeted an international coalition base in Syria.

The cell stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that “our security forces, within the operations sector of the Western Nineveh Operations Command, began a broad search and inspection operation for outlaw elements that targeted, at 2150 hours on Sunday, an international coalition base with a number of missiles in depth of Syrian territory.
She added, “Our security forces found the wheel from which the missiles were launched and burned it, and are still continuing the search operation to arrest the perpetrators and bring them to justice to receive their punishment.”
