
Heavy thunderstorms lashed the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Tuesday, dumping the heaviest rain ever recorded in the country in the span of several hours that flooded portions of major highways and Dubai’s international airport. Unexpected rain also fell in Bahrain, Qatar and Saudi Arabia.
