Salah Al-Din – Conscious – Falih Al-Obaidi
Today, Thursday, the Mayor of Al-Alam District in Salah al-Din Governorate counted the service projects in the district, while clarifying their details and completion rates.
The mayor of Al-Alam District, Ibrahim Al-Khattab, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “There are a large number of service projects currently underway in Al-Alam District, including: demolition and construction of a health center in Al-Kharjah, and the construction of a new one in the village of Al-Samra Al-Khuzamiya, and major health centers.” In Rubaida, a health center was also allocated in the village of Tal Al-Saybat, with funding from the Social Development Fund.
Al-Khattab added, “These projects have reached advanced completion rates, and during the current year they will be fully delivered, and thus the health sector will have received a large percentage of the projects, as this sector has become sufficient now and for several years to come.”
He pointed out that “there are also projects in the education sector, including: a project to demolish and build a school consisting of 12 classrooms in the Antakya region, and to demolish and build the Green Carpet School with 6 classrooms, in addition to a project to establish a school in the old district with 6 classrooms, in addition to a project to establish two schools.” From the Social Development Fund in the areas of Rabidah and Tal Al-Saybat,” noting that “there are security projects in the district that included two projects for the traffic departments and the intelligence building and combating flag terrorism.”
He continued, “The Al-Alm Surgical Hospital has been completed and is awaiting furnishing and medical supplies to be ready for the citizens. The building of the mayor of Al-Alm District has also been constructed as part of the development projects. In the water sector, we have a water project for the Hawija area in Al-Alm and a 500 cubic meter water project in the Al-Aali area covering areas.” A large area of the district, as well as the Al-Dulaim area water project, 100 cubic meters per hour, is currently being worked on and under the supervision of engineers from the Salah al-Din Water Directorate.
He pointed out that “there are also projects in the electricity sector, including: a power station within the food security budget, work on which is currently underway, and it is possible that it will enter service during the next year,” pointing out that “this station will work to resolve electrical bottlenecks in the region.”
