Baghdad / Nina/ Former US President Donald Trump said, if I were the current president of the country, the attack on the military base in Jordan would not have happened, killing three American soldiers and wounding at least 40 others.
He added in response to a question in an interview with Fox News: “With me, this would never have happened,” referring to the incompetence of the current US President, Joe Biden.
Trump also criticized Biden’s decision to speak in advance about the retaliatory response to the attack on the “Tower 22” base in Jordan, and said: “He did not have to say anything he was going to do… He is incompetent, and everyone knows that there is someone who makes decisions on his behalf. He does not.” He does it himself.”
Earlier, ABC News reported, citing an American official, that American military strikes had begun in Syria, as part of a response to the attack that killed 3 soldiers at an American base in Jordan.
The US Central Command announced at dawn yesterday, Saturday, the launch of air strikes in Iraq and Syria against targets linked to the Quds Force of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard and armed groups affiliated with it./End 9
