Today, Thursday, the head of the Iraqi Media Network, Karim Hammadi, officially began his duties after being assigned by Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani.
In a statement to the Iraqi News Agency (INA), Hammadi appreciated “the Prime Minister’s confidence in assigning him the tasks of managing the presidency of the Iraqi Media Network,” stressing “working on the importance of advancing the network’s national and neutral discourse and developing the work in its media outlets to represent the state’s discourse and the citizen’s voice.”
Hammadi pointed out that “the Iraqi Media Network represents the Iraqi national identity and the journalistic and television legacy, and its responsibility is to put all the expertise of its employees to serve the country.”
Hammadi also met with the network’s employees and talked about working conditions and finding urgent solutions to solve all problems and motivate them to provide the best in all its visual, audio, print and electronic aspects.
