The movement stated in a statement: “We welcome the decision of the International Court of Justice, which means stopping all forms of aggression against our Palestinian people in Gaza,” calling on the international community to “compel the enemy to implement the court’s decisions and stop the ongoing crime of genocide against our people.”
She added: “We look forward to the final decisions of the court convicting the occupying state of committing the crime of genocide, and we also look forward to the final decisions of the court convicting the occupying state of committing war crimes and crimes against humanity.”
She appreciated “the genuine position of the Republic of South Africa, its support for the Palestinian people, the justice of their cause, and its effort to repel the aggression,” thanking “all the countries that expressed their support for South Africa’s noble humanitarian movement.”
