Baghdad / Nina/ The Secretary-General of the Badr Organization, Hadi Al-Amiri, decided to nominate a settlement candidate for the position of Governor of Diyala (Muhammad Jassim Al-Amiri).
Al-Amiri, in a letter to the members of the Diyala Governorate Council, prayed for them to succeed in serving your dear governorate, Diyala Governorate, which has been exposed to various types of blind terrorism since 2003 until today, and has presented its best sons as martyrs on the path to freedom and dignity.
He added all thanks, gratitude and appreciation to the Governor of Diyala, Muthanna Al-Tamimi, for his great and continuous efforts to serve the people of Diyala.
He added, in view of the political impasse and the division of the members of the Diyala Governorate Council into two groups, and out of our concern for the stability of Diyala’s security and not returning to square one, we therefore decided to nominate a settlement candidate, who is the competent young man ((Muhammad Jassim Al-Amiri)), who is from a respected and prominent family in Diyala Governorate.
He continued: We hope from all parties and political blocs to support, endorse and assist in this difficult task.
We hope that Al-Amiri will be at the same distance from all political forces. What is important to us is the stability of Diyala and the service of its people./End 9
