Congratulations and congratulations came from ministers and government officials today, Tuesday, on the occasion of the 102nd anniversary of the founding of the Iraqi police.
In this regard, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Planning, Muhammad Ali Tamim, today appreciated the great contribution of the Iraqi police, and the great sacrifices they made, which contributed to preserving the pillars of the Iraqi state, laying the foundations of security and stability throughout the country, and serving citizens.
According to a statement by the Ministry of Planning received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), Tamim stressed that “the great tasks performed by the heroic police men and women, whether in the battlefields or construction, had a prominent role in sustaining life.”
He added: “These heroes represent a symbol of safety and stability,” wishing “the Iraqi police further development and giving, in order to achieve security and stability throughout Iraq.”
In turn, the Minister of Education, Ibrahim Namis Al-Habouri, said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “Iraq laid the foundation stone for the establishment of the heroic Iraqi police. You became protectors of the homeland and embodied, with your sacrifices, the most wonderful examples of altruism. Your heroism was entrenched in the records of a rich history spanning decades and all.” “A year, and you are the symbol of the homeland and its safe address.”
For his part, Secretary-General of the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, Hamid Al-Ghazi, congratulated the Iraqi police.
Al-Ghazi said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “I extend my sincere congratulations and heartfelt congratulations to all members of the Iraqi police force in all its ranks, commanders, officers and ranks, on the occasion of their most important holiday, for the great sacrifices they made over the past 102 years, which contributed to making history.” Bright and crowned with great sacrifices, great stances, and their continuity in combating terrorism and preserving the internal security front of Iraq, asking the Almighty to guide their steps and efforts in spreading peace and upholding the word of the law.”
