At exactly five o’clock this afternoon, Wednesday, Baghdad time, the Englet Stadium will host our Olympic team’s friendly match against its Egyptian counterpart, as part of the preparatory camp held in France in preparation for the Olympic Games in Paris.
Yesterday, our Olympic team underwent its last training session before today’s match.
The training was attended by the head of the delegation of our Olympic team, member of the Executive Office of the Federation, Ghanem Arabi, and member of the Executive Office of the Iraqi Olympic Committee, Khalil Yassin.
The technical staff of our Olympic team, led by Radhi Shenaishil, hopes to include as many players as possible who are currently in the training camp in the friendly match against Egypt to accurately assess physical and technical readiness and raise the competitive factor before the first official match in the Olympics against Ukraine on the twenty-fourth of this July.
Our national team’s match with its Egyptian counterpart will be closed to the media and the public.
