A security source reported today, Thursday, that an explosion occurred inside weapons depots in the Awerij area, south of Baghdad.
The source told Al-Rasheed, “An explosion occurred inside weapons depots in the Awerij area, south of the capital, Baghdad, which led to shrapnel flying and loud sounds being heard.”
He added, “The causes of the accident are not yet known, whether it was due to poor storage or targeting.”
