Istanbul / Nina/ Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan confirmed his country’s readiness to host a peace summit in which Russia will participate alongside Ukraine.
In a joint press conference with his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodymyr Zelensky, following their meeting this evening in Istanbul, Erdogan expressed his country’s readiness to provide strong support for reconstruction in Ukraine.
Erdogan indicated that he agreed with Zelensky to work towards achieving the goal of reaching $10 billion in trade volume.
Erdogan said that the entry into force of the free trade agreement between Turkey and Ukraine as soon as possible will add new momentum to their bilateral relations.
During their meeting earlier today, Erdogan and Zelensky discussed issues related to export corridors and navigation security in the Black Sea./End
