Will Stewart The Bath native’s defensive work was outstanding and helped England become more solid, especially in scrums. 7
Maro Itoje Made some important tackles and was always impressive. This was one of his best games in a long time. 7

Ethan Lutz He left England with 13 players after being sent to prison, but he impressed when he returned to the pitch. 7
Sam Underhill A big hit from Gareth Thomas. Excellent in the back row but has not yet returned to his best destructive potential. 6
