The 16-year-old wass the youngest finalist in 2012 and began writing her own songs from the age of 12. She wowed judges during her first audition with an original song, which she had written for her late grandfather. She left the show contraversially in week 7 after ending up in the bottom two with James Arthur, despite both being favourites to win.
