The ministry stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that “the engineering and technical personnel in the Ministry of Communications mobilized their efforts coinciding with the wave of rain that occurred in the beloved capital, Baghdad, and a number of governorates, to ensure the continuity of Internet service.”
She added, “The staff began to maintain the electrical generators following the power outage due to the rain wave, preserve the electronic panels of the generators from rain bursts, and prepare fuel for all sites, at night, to avoid any shortage of kerosene, and preserve property through prevention, occupational safety, and any emergency that may be exposed to it.” Directorate switchboards in order to maintain and sustain service for our citizens.”
