Ittihad Jeddah Club is preparing a new offer to sign Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, the Liverpool winger, during the upcoming summer transfer period.
Al-Ittihad was close to signing Salah last summer, as the Saudi club sent offers approaching 200 million pounds sterling, but Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp refused to give up on the Egyptian player.
According to the global “Gol” website, the Federation is preparing an offer amounting to 70 million pounds sterling, to sign Salah during the next Mercato, apart from the agreements related to the player himself.
The website indicated that Salah’s contract with the Reds expires in the summer of 2025, which may prompt the English club to benefit financially from the Egyptian star before his departure for free a year later.
Salah did not announce in any way his position on moving to Saudi Arabia. “Gul” stated that Salah is not the only target for the Saudi Premier League next summer, but there is also a desire to include Kevin De Bruyne (Manchester City), Casemiro and Raphael Varane (Manchester United).
