Today, Thursday, the President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Faiq Zidane, visited the Supreme Court of Azerbaijan.
The Supreme Judicial Council stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that “the President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Faiq Zidane, accompanied by the accompanying delegation, visited the Supreme Court in Azerbaijan, and he was received by the President of the Supreme Court, Inam Karimov, the Chief Justice, and the judges working in it.”
He added, “Zidane, accompanied by the accompanying delegation and Karimov, toured the administrative department and museum of the Supreme Court, where he listened to a brief explanation of the nature of its work.”
It is noteworthy that the Supreme Court of Azerbaijan is the counterpart of the Court of Cassation in Iraq.
