
Cairo’s Grand Egyptian Museum is on Saturday finally opening its doors, unveiling a vast collection of artefacts – some never before seen by the public – after more than two decades in the making and a series of protracted delays caused by political instability, the Covid-19 pandemic and regional conflicts.
