Hebrew Channel 13 reported that Brazil issued a decision to expel its Israeli ambassador due to the war on Gaza.
Brazilian President Lula da Silva also decided to recall his country’s ambassador to Israel.
In turn, Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz said, “We will not bow our heads, and (Brazilian President) da Silva will remain persona non grata until we apologize for his incitement.”
The Israeli Foreign Minister summoned the Brazilian ambassador to Tel Aviv to “reprimand” him, following Lula’s statements in which he compared Israel’s war on the Gaza Strip to the “Holocaust,” and Israel to Hitler.
