Two bodies have been discovered during the search for a father and his 12-year-old son who went missing after hiking in Glencoe Mountain in the Highlands, police said.
Tom Parry, 49, and his son Richie will return home to Cheshire on Wednesday after visiting Glen Nevis and Glencoe.
Their car was found in the Three Sisters car park in Glencoe, where they had stopped to climb a hill on Tuesday.
Police say two bodies were discovered during a search in Glencoe on Wednesday night.
Police Scotland said in a statement on Thursday that the pair had not yet been formally identified but their families had been notified.
A spokesman said the investigation was ongoing but “there are no obviously suspicious circumstances”.
Inspector Craig Johnstone said: “Our thoughts are with everyone involved. I would like to thank all the emergency services and mountain rescue volunteers.
The police said they would submit a report to the Prosecution and Finance Department in due course.
